They'll thank you.

Last week we found tuna in the deep. They were the 70 to 100 lbers. Two of us ran our boats about 20 miles out, late in the morning to an area out of Morehead that had the fish.

We only had time to fish it for a couple of hours before it was time to go, but it was well worth it.

We both caught six and seven of the big tuna. The other boat also caught three sails and a white marlin. We caught one out of the 3 sails and a double header blue marlin right at the end.

What a day of fishing.

We have had some good days on the wahoo. We caught six one day not too long ago and most of the boats are averaging 2 to 3 a day.

Our dolphin fishng has been a little hit and miss lately. The gulfstream current has been running from 2 to 4 knots every day. That means that what you fish today you won't find the next.

It looks like we have an eddy coming up with some cool water in it so that will help our fishing get that much better. We still have some good marlin fishing to come as well as everything else.

The inshore fishing for spanish and small king mackeral has been very good as has the sound fishing for speckled trout. They have been here all summer so we are going to have a great fall with them.

Summer's getting short so get off the couch and do some fishing.
